    The Human ResourcesManager is responsible for all managing delivery ofall HR activities and services for the assigned location, includingrecruitment and staffing, benefits administration, payroll,policies and procedures, employee engagement, communication,employee development and training, employee relations,organizational and regulatory compliance,etc.

    ESSENTIALDUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Participateas an active member of the plant management team in ensuring thelocation meets or exceeds objectives in areas of safety, cost,delivery, quality, launch, compliance,etc.
    • Advise management and employees inresponse to questions and/or concerns and recommend an appropriatecourse of action.
    • Administer employee recordsprogram such as personnel transactions (hires, promotions,transfers, performance reviews, terminations), benefitsadministration (enrollments, status changes) and employeestatistics for government reporting (hires, terminations,etc.).
    • Manage the payroll processes for thelocation, including payroll deductions, adjustments, leave ofabsence programs (LOAs), etc.
    • Assess trainingand development needs of the location and prepare location trainingplans accordingly.
    • Collaborate with locationleadership team to ensure strategies are in places for employeeengagement and retention, including communication forums, surveysthat measure engagement, appreciation and recognition events,etc.
    • Manage the employee onboarding process,including orientation sessions and ensure effective assimilationinto the role.
    • Manage the workforce planningprocess to ensure the right resources at the right time for thelocation, including development of job descriptions and followingthe organizations job evaluationprocess.
    • Manage the recruitment and staffingprocess for hourly and salaried vacancies, including the contingentworkforce.
    • Collaborate with EHS and plantmanagement to develop and sustain a safety-first culture throughoutthe location.
    • Administer performance reviewprogram and ensure the process is effectivelyutilized.
    • Administer salary administrationprogram to ensure compliance and equity within organization.Participate in compensation and benefit surveys within labormarket; analyze reports and data to determine competitivecompensation and benefits plan.
    • Investigateconcerns and incidents and develop and implement and/or advisemanagement on appropriate corrective/preventiveactions.
    • Manage the corrective action processrelated to policy violations related to attend, behavior,compliance, etc.
    • Participate in relatedhearings and investigations conducted by outside agencies, such asunemployment, OSHA, workers compensation,etc.
    • Establish and maintain relations withcommunity-based organizations such as the local Human Resourcesassociation, United Way and Chamber of Commerce. Represent thelocation at public functions and communityevents.
    • Write, deliver and managecommunications including, but not limited to, job postings,presentations, meetings minutes and notes, newsletters,etc.
    • Participate in project teams forinitiatives related to the location and/or corporate humanresources.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Toperform this job successfully, an individual must be able toperform each essential duty satisfactorily.     • Bachelorsdegree with course of study in Human Resources Management, Labor& Industrial Relations or Organizational Development.
    • Minimum of five (5) years Human Resourcesexperience with responsibilities same as those described above,including minimum of three (3) years in a role as HR Manager in amanufacturing work environment.
    • Workingknowledge of employment and labor laws, such as FMLA, ADA, FLSA,EEO, etc.
    • Must be knowledgeable of benefitsadministration, specifically the annual enrollment process, lifestatus changes, COBRA, etc.
    • Must haveexperience with HR systems, preferably Kronos, ADP, PeopleSoft orsimilar HRIS/Payroll system.
    • Working knowledgeof TS1949 and ISO requirements as they relate to HumanResources.
    • Demonstrates a high level ofinterpersonal skills to effectively communicate and presentinformation to management, employees, corporate personnel, andvendors/suppliers.
    • Excellent analytical,problem resolution, negotiating and project managementskills.
    • Strong organizational skills and theability to successfully manage multiple tasks and priorities tomeet established and changingdeadlines.
