    Job Summary

    Responsible to oversee the efficient and effective operations of the warehouse by ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical products and raw materials and overseeing the facility management ensuring materials are stored in an appropriate storage condition.

    Main Tasks & Responsibilities

    • Oversee inventory control procedures to ensure accurate stock levels of products and raw materials.
    • Implement inventory-tracking systems to monitor stock movements and minimize discrepancies.
    • Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of pharmaceutical products and materials in accordance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) guidelines.
    • Coordinate and manage the receipt, picking, packing, and transportation of products according to production schedules and customer orders while meeting quality and compliance standards.
    • Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements related to warehousing and storage of pharmaceutical products.
    • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to safety protocols and hygiene guidelines.
    • Collaborate with the Quality department to conduct periodic quality checks and audits of warehouse processes to maintain product integrity.
    • Participate in audits and inspections, addressing any compliance issues and implementing corrective actions.
    • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancement.
    • Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, temperature-controlled storage units and material handling systems.
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and warehouse activities, utilizing appropriate documentation and reporting tools.
    • Collaborate with other departments, including Production, Quality Control, and Logistics, to ensure seamless coordination and communication in the supply chain.
    • Order new supplies in a timely manner.
    • Determine and track the most important warehouse KPIs.
    • Supervise and lead a team of warehouse personnel, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
    • Schedule and organize work assignments to meet operational requirements.

    Job Requirements and Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Pharm D.
    • Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
    • Certificate/ Registration as a health practitioner at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to pharmaceutical distribution.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
