- Pilot and navigate the flight for the MH-60R helicopter.
- Assist RSNF designated FCF Pilots with all portions of maintenance functional check flights, including preflight briefing, preflight, flight checks, post flight and all required FCF documentation.
- Coordinate with maintenance contractors for in-flight troubleshooting discrepancies, and verifications of maintenance actions or repairs, by conducting ground and flight checks.
- Guide and assist in managing an approved MH-60R Flight Operations Program in compliance with Navy flight manuals, instructions, directives, SOP's, and local directives.
- Designation as a Helicopter Aircraft Commander (HAC).
- Past designation as a MH-60R OR MH-60S Functional/Maintenance Check Pilot is required; current designation is desired. Current or previous designation as an instructor is desired.
- Able to perform all duties independently. A minimum of 550 total flight hours, 50 Helicopter Aircraft Commander (HAC) hours in the MH-60R OR MH-60S, and 100 hours of MH-60R OR MH-60S FCF/Maintenance test fly is required.
- A Secret security clearance is required.
