Job Title: API Inspector (570/510/563/580/581 20)

Department: Quality Assurance / Inspection

Reports To: Inspection Manager

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and certified API Inspector with expertise in API 570 API 510 API 563 API 580 and API 581 standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection evaluation and maintenance of piping systems pressure vessels storage tanks and riskbased inspection (RBI) management. This role requires a deep understanding of industry standards excellent analytical skills and a commitment to ensuring the integrity and reliability of our assets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inspection and Evaluation:
   • Perform inspections in compliance with API 570 API 510 and API 563 standards for piping systems pressure vessels and storage tanks.
     
   • Evaluate the condition of equipment and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
     
2. RiskBased Inspection (RBI) Management:
   • Conduct risk assessments and manage inspection plans based on API 580 and API 581 standards.
     
   • Prioritize inspection activities based on risk assessments to optimize maintenance strategies and ensure the integrity of assets.
     
3. Documentation and Reporting:
   • Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings recommendations and compliance with relevant API standards.
     
   • Maintain accurate records of inspections tests and maintenance activities for auditing and quality assurance purposes.
     
4. Compliance and Standards Adherence:
   • Ensure all inspection activities and documentation comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
     
   • Stay updated with changes in API standards and best practices in the inspection field.
     
5. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Work closely with the maintenance engineering and operations teams to implement inspection recommendations and ensure the safe operation of assets.
     
   • Communicate effectively with team members management and external stakeholders regarding inspection findings and maintenance strategies.
     

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Certified API Inspector with valid certifications in API 570 API 510 API 563 API 580 and API 581.
  
• Minimum of X years experience in a similar role preferably in the specify industry if applicable.
  
• Strong knowledge of industry standards mechanical integrity and asset reliability processes.
