    Inventory Management:
    The storekeeper is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming shipments or deliveries.

    They must verify the accuracy and quality of the items received and ensure that they match the corresponding purchase orders or invoices.

    The storekeeper also organizes and maintains inventory storage areas, ensuring that products are properly labeled, stacked, and stored in a safe and accessible manner.



    Stock Control:
    The storekeeper monitors inventory levels and conducts regular stock checks to identify shortages, discrepancies, or damaged items. They maintain accurate records of stock levels, including stock additions, withdrawals, and returns.

    The storekeeper may also generate reports on inventory status, such as stock levels, slow-moving items, or items nearing expiration dates.



    Order Fulfillment:
    When requested, the storekeeper prepares and packs orders for shipment or delivery. They ensure that the necessary paperwork, such as packing lists or shipping labels, is completed accurately.

    The storekeeper may also coordinate with suppliers or vendors to arrange for product returns or replacements in case of damaged or incorrect items.



    Equipment and Tools:

    Depending on the nature of the store or warehouse, the storekeeper may use various tools and equipment to handle inventory, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, barcode scanners, or computerized inventory management systems.

    They are responsible for operating and maintaining these tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
