    Our client a premier medicalfacility is currently looking for a Staff Nurse Labor and Deliveryto be based in Eastern Province Saudi Arabia. For this role youwill have the followingresponsibilities:

    • Provide compassionate andsupportive care to pregnant women during labor childbirth and theimmediate postpartum period assessing maternal and fetal wellbeingand monitoring vital signs uterine contractions and fetal heartrate patterns.
    • Assist obstetriciansmidwives and other healthcare providers during vaginal deliveriescesarean sections and other obstetric procedures ensuring adherenceto sterile technique and safetyprotocols.
    • Administer medicationspain relief measures and intravenous fluids as prescribedadvocating for womens preferences and pain management options whileensuring maternal and fetalsafety.
    • Educate expectant mothersand their families about childbirth processes pain managementtechniques breastfeeding newborn care and postpartum recoverypromoting informed decisionmaking and empowering women in theirbirth experiences.
    • Facilitateeffective communication and collaboration among members of theinterdisciplinary healthcare team including obstetriciansneonatologists anesthesiologists and support staff to ensurecoordinated care and optimal outcomes for motherbabydyads.
    • Provide emotional supportreassurance and guidance to women and their partners throughout thechildbirth journey addressing their concerns fears and preferenceswith empathy andunderstanding.
    • Assist with newbornassessments initial newborn care procedures and breastfeedinginitiation promoting bonding and attachment between mothers andbabies in the immediate postpartumperiod.
    • Document nursing assessmentsinterventions and outcomes accurately and timely in electronichealth records (EHR) systems maintaining confidentiality andcompliance with regulatorystandards.
    • Participate in qualityimprovement initiatives evidencebased practice projects and ongoingprofessional development activities to enhance clinicalcompetencies and promote excellence in obstetric nursingcare.
    • Adhere to ethical standardsprofessional guidelines and institutional policies related to laborand delivery nursing practice ensuring patient safety privacy anddignity at alltimes.

    Requirements

    Tobe considered for this role you need to meet the followingcriteria:

    • A Bachelors Degree inNursing is required.
    • Candidates mustpossess a minimum of 5 years of experience in ClinicalNursing.
    • 2 years experience in Laborand Delivery Nursing.
    • Must beeligible to take the SCFHSexam.
    • Preferably with valid SCFHSNursing Specialist/Technicianlicense/certificate.
    • Currentlicensure as a professional registerednurse.
    • Proficient inEnglish
