Duties:

To be fully aware of all services and facilities offered by theHotel.

Staying up to date with the food and beverage offerings on themenu.

Communicate food orders to chefs, paying attention to prioritiesand special requests (e.g. foodallergies).

Greet and escort customers to theirtables.

Present menu and provide detailed information when asked portions, ingredients or potential food allergies). To takeguest orders and ensure properexecution.

Setting up and replenishing of napkins, toothpicks, ashtrays, andother counter items whennecessary.

Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, glasses,condiments, cushions and any other items required for setup.

Informcustomers about the day s specials and offer menu recommendationsuponrequest.

Ensure adherence to service and clearance procedures at alltimes.

Assist in keeping the outlet clean by wiping down surfaces,sweeping and mopping, removing dirty glassware and dishes,scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying the trashbins.

Complete all daily duties as set out in departmental duties andprocedures.

Ensure that the dining and or bar area, waitron stations, back ofhouse preparation areas and all equipment such as tables, chairs,linen, crockery, cutlery, glassware, buffet equipment and utensilsetc. are cleaned and polished at alltimes.

Provide excellent customer service to guests at all times andensure guest complaints are addressed or reported in a timelymanner.

Ensure that guest preferences and feedback is communicated toManagement to enhance the guestexperience.

Perform all food & beverage activities, which includes butis not limited to providing room service, bar duties, specialset-ups and other relatedactivities.

Assist with inventory management or stock count whenrequired.

Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuringcharges are accurate, and balancing the cashregister.

Assist with the set up and break down of tables and other venue setup requirements at special functions and events, as well as workingat the special functions and events, as and whenrequired.

Taking inventory and ordering supplies (with the approval of theOutlet Manager) to ensure the outlet and table supplies arewell-stocked.

Assist with the preparation of beverages (which includes hot andcold beverages) as and whenrequired.

Up-sell additional products whenappropriate.

Constantly check crockery and kitchenware for cleanliness andpresentation and report anyproblems.

Assist with other duties as and when required bymanagement.

Assist with rooming guests and luggage duties as and whenrequired.

Requirements

Requirements:

Hospitality qualificationadvantageous.

1- 2 years relevant experience in a similar position within a 4- or5-star hotelenvironment.

Excellent communicationskills.

Exceptional customer serviceorientation.

The ability to work in high pressuresituations.

Knowledge of silverwareadvantageous.

Good knowledge and understanding offood.

Job Skills Job Specifications Bachelor s or master s degree in tax,accounting, or finance Minimum 4-5 years experience inaccounting/finance Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiaritywith relevant accounting software Ability to speak effectively withcustomers, vendors and employees at all level within theorganization. Work with minimum supervision and able to work underpressure efficiently. Strong organizational skills. Attentive todetails. Energetic and self-starter.
