    JobTitle: OSS SeniorManager

    JobPurpose:

    Tolead and manage the Operations Support System (OSS) team. The roleinvolves overseeing the development implementation and optimizationof OSS solutions critical to network operations. The primarypurpose is to ensure the seamless functioning of the OSS enablingthe organization to deliver highquality services and maintainoptimal network performance. The OSS Senior Manager plays a keyrole in driving strategic initiatives managing a skilled teamhandson experience and collaborating with crossfunctionalstakeholders to enhance the overall efficiency and reliability ofthe Operations SupportSystem.

    Duties&Responsibilities:

    • Developand execute a strategic roadmap for the OSS in alignment withbusinessobjectives.
    • Identifyopportunities for process improvement system optimization andintegration of newtechnologies.
    • Leadand manage a team of OSS professionals along with activelyparticipate in the design coding testing and debugging of OSSsolutions.
    • Handledaily BAU projects along with operations of OSSsolutions.
    • Conductregular performance evaluations mentorship andtraining.
    • Overseethe design development and implementation of OSSsolutions.
    • Ensurecompliance with organizational requirements and industrystandards.
    • Collaboratewith internal teams or external vendors forimplementation.
    • Implementtools and processes for realtime performancemonitoring.
    • Proactivelyidentify and address performance issues to optimize systemreliability.
    • EnsureOSS solutions and operations comply with legal and regulatoryrequirements.
    • Developand manage budgets for OSS projects andoperations.
    • Optimizeresource allocation for costeffectiveness and efficient projectdelivery.
    • Collaboratewith crossfunctional teams including network operations andIT.
    • Communicateeffectively with key stakeholders to understand requirements andalign OSS strategies with businessgoals
    • Maintaincomprehensive documentation for OSS processes configurations anddevelopments
    • Generateregular reports on OSS performance issues and improvements formanagementreview.
    • Continuouslyevaluate and improve OSS processes to enhance efficiency andeffectiveness.
    • Stayinformed about emerging technologies and industry best practicesrelated toOSS.
    • Collaboratewith the cybersecurity team to ensure the security of OSSsolutions.
    • Provideregular updates to executive leadership on OSS initiativesachievements andchallenges.
    • IntegrateOSS components with other systems and thirdpartyapplications.
    • Workwith databases to store retrieve and manipulate data relevant toOSSoperations.


    Requirements

    • Bachelorsor Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or arelatedfield.
    • Minimumof 7 years of experience in OSSdomain.
    • Proficiencyin programming languages such as Java Python C# or others commonlyused in softwaredevelopment.
    • Expertisein database design SQL and database management systems (e.g. MySQLPostgreSQLOracle).
    • Understandingof telecommunications concepts including voice and data servicesrouting and networkprotocols.
    • Understandingof network management principles including network monitoring andconfigurationmanagement.
    • Familiaritywith project management principles and tools for effective planningexecution and delivery of newprojects.
    • Effectivewritten and verbal communication skills for collaborating withcrossfunctionalteams.
    • Capabilityto deliver clear and engaging presentations to technical andnontechnicalaudiences.
    • Understandingof relevant frameworks in the telecommunications domain such aseTOM SID TAM ITIL andODA.


    Education and Experience: Bachelor s degree inElectronics/IT/Computer Science Engineering or equivalent Plus 8years of experience List of skills Java/Spring Boot DockerMicro-services architecture Git Linux(Ubuntu/RHEL) Cloudenvironments (e.g. AWS, OpenStack, etc.) NMS/EMS and OSI protocolstack knowledge Knowledge of L0-L3 services Required Testing toolsSKILLS SoapUI Postman Deep Knowledge of CI/CD
