WHATWILL YOUDO?
Dailytasks mayinclude:
Installsecurity products such as fire alarm devices, smoke detectors,cameras, recorders, card readers, door locks, control panels,networkingequipment
Troubleshootand test all installed/serviced equipment to ensure properperformance and compliance with customersrequirements
Trainclients on proper usage ofequipment
Updateservice tickets before going to the nextsite
Theideal candidate will transition to a supervisory/managerialposition that will focus more on developing processes, qualitycontrol and high level technical matters. With the right candidate,this position will lead to becoming the go-to person for alltechnicalmatters.
Requirements
WHATDO WEREQUIRE?
Thisis a highly technical position that involvesprogramming/troubleshooting networks, fire alarm panels, andcellular communicators. It requires a strong understanding oftechnology.
Experience
3+years experience in intrusionalarms
3+years experience in accesscontrol
3+years experience in Low Voltage including electronic andmechanical
FireAlarm experience aplus
NICETCertified aplus
Willingto consider candidates with less experience, but experience isrequired
Skills&Knowledge
Workingknowledge of constructionprinciples
Reading,following, and applying logical information from schematics, wiringdiagrams, blueprints, instruction manuals, operator guides, workorders, SOP s and safetyrules
Communicateeffectively with customers and educate them on newly installedequipment as well as job status completion (service orinstallation)
Strongcustomer service and problem-solvingskills
Mustbe able to communicateeffectively
Advancedcomputerskills using a laptop with abilityto checke-mailsusing Gmail and effectively manage time card using T-SheetsAbilityto submit daily time & notes using companies ticketingsystem - Mustknow how to use a cell phone including making calls, sending texts,using apps and takingphotos.
