    The main responsibility is tomanage the total sales efforts within the hotels to generateproactively revenue. The basic guideline to do this is the hotelsMarketing Plan as well as the Business Plan. He maintains developsand recognizes Key Accounts/Prospects in Aqaba as well as Amman. Hemaintains on a regular basis the contacts to the local andinternational Travel Trade and is involved with all theagreements/contracts the hotel has with major Key Accounts/TourOperators etc. He is aware of the market trends from all theexisting and potentialfeeders.

    The responsibilities ofthis position include but are not limitedto:

    • Compilation of and adherence tofinancial budgets within rooms (Market mix avg. room rate YIELD andOccupancy)
    • Organization and monitoring of alladministrative affairs within the SalesOffice
    • Cooperation with hotels Rooms DivisionF&B Conference/Seminar Banquet/Cateringdepartment
    • Coordination with Area SalesOffice
    • Close contacts to Corporate Accounts andTravel Trade
    • The following duties within frameof work:
      • Sales
      • Administration
      • Finance
      • Contracting
      • General

    Qualifications

    • Youhave experience in service sector which is relevant for ourbusiness (e.g. retail hotel industry catering hospitality orservice division)
    • You distinguish yourselfthrough your serviceoriented way of thinking and value work thathas direct customer contact
    • Ideally you havealready worked as a customer service representative service agentor sales consultant and are an expert in customersupport
    • You have a confident demeanour and arenot only salesoriented but perhaps even a charming salestalent
    • Must be able to work a flexibleschedule
    • Willing to work on a shift rota basisto cover branch opening hours
    • You haveexcellent English skills which allows you to be a brilliantcommunicator
