    As a Structural Design Engineer you will beresponsible for designing analyzing and overseeing the constructionof various structures ensuring their safety stability andcompliance with regulatory standards. You will collaborate witharchitects contractors and other stakeholders to developcosteffective and innovative structuralsolutions.

    Responsibilities:

    1. DesignDevelopment: Develop structural designs andcalculations for buildings bridges dams and other infrastructureprojects using engineering software andtools.
    2. Analysis:Conduct structural analysis and simulations to assess the behaviorand performance of different structural systems under variousloading conditions.
    3. CodeCompliance: Ensure that structural designs complywith relevant building codes regulations and industry standardsincluding seismic wind and environmentalconsiderations.
    4. MaterialSelection: Select appropriate construction materialsbased on structural requirements project specifications and budgetconstraints.
    5. Collaboration:Collaborate with architects contractors and other engineeringdisciplines to integrate structural designs with architectural andMEP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing)systems.
    6. TechnicalSupport: Provide technical support and guidance toproject teams during the design construction and inspection phasesto address structural challenges and resolveissues.
    7. RiskAssessment: Identify potential risks and challengesassociated with structural designs and propose mitigation measuresto ensure safety andreliability.
    8. Documentation:Prepare detailed drawings specifications and technical reportsdocumenting structural designs calculations andanalyses.
    9. QualityAssurance: Conduct quality assurance reviews ofstructural drawings and documentation to verify accuracycompleteness and compliance with projectrequirements.
    10. ConstructionOversight: Provide onsite support and oversightduring the construction phase to ensure that structural elementsare built according to design specifications and industry bestpractices.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelorsdegree in Civil Engineering or related field; Masters degreepreferred.
    • Professional Engineer (PE) licenseor equivalent certification preferred.
    • Minimumof 8 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus ondesign and analysis.
    • Proficiency in structuralengineering software such as SAP2000 ETABS orSTAAD.Pro.
    • Strong understanding of buildingcodes regulations and industry standards related to structuraldesign and construction.
    • Excellent analyticalproblemsolving and decisionmakingskills.
    • Effective communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate withmultidisciplinary teams andstakeholders.
    • Attention to detail and abilityto manage multiple projectssimultaneously.
    • Experience with BIM (BuildingInformation Modeling) software and practices ismandatory.
