    Responsibilities:

    • Familiariseyourself with the Aldenham brand ideals and websites to createcontent that supports their objectives and desiredidentity.
    • Work with the AEG marketing agency todevelop a web content strategy that encompasses the goals of theschool and aligns with the Aldenham image.
    • Workwith the AEG marketing agency and/or local marketing agency todesign direct marketing campaigns to generate interest fromexisting and new markets and to position the schooleffectively
    • Cooperate and work with themarketing agency to ensure that the individual school marketing isin keeping with the Aldenham brand
    • Oversee themanagement of the school website in liaison with the Agency andguiding ideas for development.
    • Work with staffand pupils in the school to create a rich seam of creative andappropriate content to represent the vibrant and diverse nature ofwhat is offered in the school capturing key events but alsoeffectively portraying the normal on both the website and socialmedia channels
    • Oversee a content marketingcalendar that schedules all aspects of the creation and delivery ofcontent throughout the year both for inhouse media but alsothirdparty directories and advertising in liaison with theAgency
    • Alongside the Head and in liaison withthe AEG Agency manage the approval of the monthly content plan forsocial media from the marketing agency
    • Reviewcopy for articles on the websites written by the agency and approvefor posting
    • Monitor the position of the schoolin the press reporting to the Head and the AEG marketing agency anyconcerns
    • In liaison with the Head and theOffice Manager be responsible for the organisation of Open Days andother dedicated marketing events in School.
    • Beresponsible for the booking and leading of Tours for prospectiveparents and others to the School in liaison with theRegistrar.
    • Make connections with externalcompanies and compounds in order to drive interest from theiremployees and clients in sending children to theSchool
    • Develop good working relationships withthe other early years settings from which pupils are joiningAldenham. This will include the day to day contact aboutthe
    • admissions process but will also includevisits to those settings when required on either a formal (openday) or informal basis
    • Attend events to capturethem as content. Take photographs and video and edit to make themweb and agency ready. Events may take place in the evenings andsome weekends.
    • Manage the photo and videolibrary on Teams/Sharepoint developing appropriate categorisationto enable easy search.
    • Monitor permissions forphoto and video usage in consultation with theRegistrar.
    • Working with AEG marketing agencystay abreast of current best practices in the industry and reviewcompetitor websites and Social Media Feeds to compare theiractivities with those of this school
    • Establishand maintain effective communication channels andefficient/effective working relationships with other members ofschool personnel and customers.
    • Working withthe Registrar and Agency produce regular reports on theeffectiveness of our Marketing updating and tracking numbers ofapplications visitors offers and confirmed new starters for eachYear Group and Academic Year ofEntry.

    Skills andQualities needed for School MarketingManager:

    • A passion fordigital marketing and a readiness to embrace the fast developmentsin the digital world
    • At least three years ofagency experience or similar in a content creation/eventsmanagement role
    • Excellent verbal communicationskills with a good command of the Englishlanguage
    • Excellent written communication skillsand an ability to write and proofread copy inEnglish
    • Extremely computer literatedemonstrating facility to learn new applications quickly and withminimal support
    • Ability to conceive fresh andappealing ideas for new content that establishes or supports theAldenham brand identity and is appropriate for the different targetages
    • An understanding of the principles of SEOto write creative copy that includes effective keywordplacement.
    • Good understanding of Social Mediamarketing including appropriate strategy on developing contentplans for organic advertising and sales funnels for paidadvertising
    • Strong skills in creating originalcontent that targets a specific audience and meets companyobjectives.
    • Ability with photography andphotoshop (or similar) to prepare appropriate and creative contentfor the agency and for our own website
    • Abilitywith videography and video editing platforms to prepare appropriateand creative content for the agency and for our ownwebsite.
    • Good working knowledge of MS Office365 including MS Teams for collaboration Sway andForms
    • Good working knowledge ofWordPress
    • The Marketing Manager will need to becapable of carrying the necessary work on print materials inliaison with external agencies asrequired.
