    Our client is in search of anexperienced Program Management Warehousing Lead to oversee allwarehousing activities within the shipbuilding organization. Thesuccessful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficientstorage inventory management and logistics operations whileadhering to industry standards and regulatoryrequirements.

    Responsibilities

    • Leadand supervise all warehouse operations including receiving storageinventory control and distribution of materials and equipmentrequired for shipbuilding projects. Implement best practices tooptimize warehouse efficiency and minimize operationalcosts.
    • Act as a mentor to trainees in thewarehousing department providing guidance support and technicalexpertise to facilitate their growth and development as subjectmatter experts. Document trainee progress and provide feedback toaid in their professional advancement.
    • Utilizeyour certification as an assessor or readiness to obtain one toassess and certify warehouse processes and personnel as perorganizational and regulatoryrequirements.
    • Leverage your experience fromprominent shipbuilding organizations to introduce and implementbest practices in warehouse management. Share knowledge andinsights to enhance efficiency accuracy and safety in warehouseoperations.
    • Develop and maintain inventorycontrol systems and procedures to ensure accurate tracking andreporting of materials and equipment. Conduct regular audits toidentify discrepancies and implement correctiveactions.
    • Ensure compliance with topclassification society standards and requirements such as IACS ABSBV DNV LR RINA etc. throughout warehouse operations. Maintainaccurate documentation to demonstratecompliance.
    • Collaborate with procurement teamsto coordinate the timely delivery of materials and equipment to thewarehouse. Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers toensure quality and reliability ofdeliveries.
    • Coordinate logistics activitiesincluding transportation loading and unloading of materials andequipment. Optimize transportation routes and modes to minimizecosts and maximizeefficiency.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelorsdegree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administrationor a related field preferred with additional certifications ortraining in warehouse management beingadvantageous.
    • Proficient English communicationskills with a minimum IELTS band score of 7 or equivalent essentialfor mentoring trainees and documenting theirprogress.
    • Documented history of being acertified assessor or eligibility to become one demonstrating theability to assess and certify warehouse processes andpersonnel.
    • Proven track record of working atprominent shipbuilding organizations with significant experience inwarehousing and logistics roles. Bring along best practices andbehaviors to enhance operations.
    • Demonstratedexperience working on projects adhering to top classificationsociety standards/requirements such as IACS ABS BV DNV LR RINAetc.
    • Strong leadership abilities with thecapacity to lead and motivate teams toward achieving commonwarehousing goals. Ability to mentor and develop juniorstaff.
