- Providing technical support for tendering & Execution of Customer projects, preparation of Secondary drawings & Bill of Quantities for Engineered items of Gas insulated Switchgears LCC.2.
- Preparing specifications, check supplier's offers & co-ordinate with Supply Chain Management for procurement of materials, equipment & Services for LCCs.
- Preparing interlocks, MIMIC, and AC DC Load calculation and the Control schematics drawings in E-3 for GIS bays.
- Attending discussions with customers, handle site queries and take necessary actions.
- Helping apprentices, entry-level engineers, technicians, and support teams with design questions.
- Reviewing of deliverables before submission to the client.
- Participating in customer meetings as required. Active participation in project review meetings.
- Active project contribution to reducing the lead time and cost of the LCC solution by developing a solution as per project technical requirements.
- Adhering to the detailed project plan to meet on-time delivery.
- Ensuring the quality of deliverables is the top priority.
- To focus on optimized solutions with benefit to customers and Hitachi Energy.
- Interfacing with Primary, steel and application engineers on systems/solutions part from Hitachi Energy companies.

- A bachelor's degree in relevant field.
- Minimum 3 to 7 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of relevant international standards ex. IEEE, IEC etc.
- Knowledge of high voltage gas insulated switchgear (66kv and above).
- Knowledge of HV substation protection and control.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.

Project Engineering focuses on designing, communicating, and implementing an operational plan for completing an engineering-based project including Preparing designs, project controls and specifications, schedules, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing and/or commissioning of new infrastructure, facilities, equipment, etc. Monitoring progress and performance against the project plan; taking action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays. Identifying, developing, and gathering the resources necessary to complete the project. May include preparing engineering standards, designs, and work specifications; developing project schedules, budgets, and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
