    The Assistant Warehouse Manager supports theWarehouse Manager in overseeing the daytoday operations of thewarehouse. They assist in managing warehouse staff ensuringefficient inventory management and maintaining a safe workingenvironment.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    1. Assist in supervisingwarehouse staff including training scheduling and performancemanagement.

    2. Help coordinate inbound andoutbound logistics activities such as receiving storing pickingpacking and shipping of goods.

    3. Support theimplementation and maintenance of inventory control systems toaccurately track stock levels and minimizediscrepancies.

    4. Ensure compliance with safetyregulations and help enforce procedures to maintain a safe workingenvironment.

    5. Aid in optimizing warehouselayout and storage configurations to maximize space utilization andoperational efficiency.

    6. Assist in developingand enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouseoperations.

    7. Collaborate with other departmentssuch as purchasing and sales to coordinate inventory movements andmeet customer demands.

    8. Assist in monitoringand analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areasfor improvement and implement correctiveactions.

    9. Assist in identifying opportunitiesto streamline processes and reduce costs while maintaining servicelevels.

    Requirements:

    1.Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering supply chain managementor a related field.

    2. Proven experience inwarehouse management or a similar role with a minimum of 12 yearsof relevant experience.

    3. Strong leadership andinterpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage andmotivate a team.

    4. Excellent organizational andproblemsolving abilities with a keen attention todetail.

    5. Proficiency in warehouse managementsoftware (e.g. WMS ERP) and Microsoft OfficeSuite.

    6. Knowledge of inventory management bestpractices and experience with inventory controlsystems.

    7. Familiarity with safety regulationsand procedures for warehouse operations.

    8.Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changingpriorities.

    9. Strong communication skills bothwritten and verbal.

    10. Experience operatingmaterial handling equipment.
