    Basic requirement
    As an IT BusinessAnalyst you will be responsible for identifying and defining thebusiness needs for Power Trading stakeholders, and helping todetermine solutions to meet business needs or resolve businessproblems. You will aid IT software development work on project,enhancement request or defect fix request that may includeEstimating, Business Analysis, Impact Analysis, System RequirementsDefinition, Solution Design, Technical Specification &Acceptance Criteria, and Technical Test Plan design and execution.You will support the transition of the implementation into ShellStandard Service and Operation Model.As a Subject Matter Expert,you adhere in understanding the requirement of a functionalspecification or user stories, ensure its completeness for nextsteps and able to resolve defects during test cycles and hyper careincluding incident/ problem management. You will provide businessfunctional expertise and guide the business process and developmentof the IT solution to support a key strategicproduct.

    • Broadand extensive knowledge, often in own specialized field, to provideinterpretive, advisory or facilitating services for the use ofothers to achieveresults.
    • Participatesin team effort to create new best practice material based onidentified gaps. Serves as an SME for specific tools, techniques,or businessareas.
    • Participatesin industry IT BA related activities such as IIBA webcasts and/orchapter meetings and applies learnings within Shell includingsharing oflearnings.
    KeySkills &Experience
    • TypicalYears of Experience: 3 years of corporate IT experience; 3+ YearsIT BAExperience.
    • Experiencein NL Power marketsessential.
    • SomeEnergy trading/B2B/B2C experienceessential.
    • Knowledgeand Skill of Business Analysis techniques andtools.
    • CCBAor PMI-PBA certified preferred. Working to achieve CBAP ifpreference to remain on IT BA careerpath.
    • Agileprojectexperience.
    • Knowledgeof the technology landscape including current and futuredevelopments and the most commonly available products andintegrated solutions, or a demonstrated ability to learnit.
    • Abilityto take a systematic and analytical approach to problem solving andpay close attention todetail.
    • Ableto act as a focal point for the Settlements and Invoicing area(technical or business) within PowerTrading
    • Demonstratesa concern and aptitude for considering the users perspective in ITdevelopment. and has a deep understanding of user aspects ofinteractivesystems.
    • Stronginterpersonal and influencingskills.
    • Abilityto communicate concisely andclearly.
    • Hasa comprehensive understanding of business process improvement,benefit and riskmanagement.
    • StrongCommodities Trading (preferably Power) domain knowledge andexperience.
