    One of our esteemed clients in theShipbuildingindustry is currently seeking aProcurement Specialist to be based inDammam Kingdom of SaudiArabia.

    JobOverview:

    As a ProcurementSpecialist you will play a pivotal role in managing the procurementprocess to ensure the organization acquires goods and services inan efficient costeffective and ethical manner. This role requires adeep understanding of procurement principles excellent negotiationskills and the ability to build strong relationships withsuppliers. The Procurement Experienced Specialist will collaboratewith various departments to identify their procurement needs andimplement strategies to meet those needs while adhering toorganizational policies and industryregulations.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    StrategicSourcing:

    • Conductmarket research to identify potential suppliers assess theircapabilities and evaluate markettrends.
    • Develop and implement strategicsourcing plans to optimize costs while maintaining quality andreliability.

    SupplierManagement:

    • Cultivateand maintain strong relationships with suppliers ensuring timelydeliveries and resolving any performanceissues.
    • Negotiate contracts terms andconditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements for theorganization.

    ProcurementProcess:

    • Collaboratewith internal stakeholders to understand their procurementrequirements and provide guidance on procurementprocesses.
    • Oversee the endtoend procurementprocess including requisition review supplier selection purchaseorder issuance and contractmanagement.

    Complianceand RiskManagement:

    • Ensurecompliance with relevant laws regulations and organizationalpolicies in all procurementactivities.
    • Identify and mitigateprocurementrelated risks implementing strategies to minimizepotentialdisruptions.

    CostOptimization:

    • Implementcostsaving initiatives without compromising quality or servicelevels.
    • Analyze spending patterns and identifyopportunities for efficiencyimprovements.

    DataAnalysis andReporting:

    • Utilizeprocurement analytics to assess performance identify trends andmake datadriven decisions.
    • Prepare regularreports on procurement activities cost savings and supplierperformance.

    Qualificationsand Skills:

    • Bachelorsdegree in Business Supply Chain Management or a relatedfield.
    • Proven experience in procurement with afocus on strategic sourcing and suppliermanagement.
    • Strong negotiation and contractmanagement skills.
    • Excellent understanding ofprocurement regulations and ethicalstandards.
    • Proficient in using procurementsoftware and tools.
    • Analytical mindset with theability to interpret data and make informeddecisions.
    • Effective communication andinterpersonalskills.

    PreferredQualifications:

    • Professionalcertification in procurement (e.g. CSCP CPIMCIPS).
    • Advanced degree in Business Supply ChainManagement or a related field.
    • Experience in asimilar role within theindustry.

    Requirements:

    • Graduatedfrom Top Tech Colleges
    • 23 years of workexperience
    • Should be fluent in English (minimumIELTS band score of 7 or equivalent)
