- Conduct preventative maintenance on all machines and equipments
- Troubleshoot and finds permanent solutions to reocurring equipment issues
- Maintains and performs lock out/tag out
- Conducts monthly inspection of eye wash center, fire extinguisher, and housekeeping audits
- Will be required to place orders for machine parts and tools
- Maintains and repairs the facility's structure, equipment, grounds, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
- Electrical systems, including lighting, circuits, and equipment
- Water supply, drains, pipes and appliances
- Pneumatic air supply, including air compressor
- Walls, partitions, floors, ceilings and fixtures(including painting)
- Facilities equipment such as trash compactor and baling machine
- Material handling equipment, such as lift trucks and racking
- Office furniture and office partition systems
- Performs other duties as assigned
- HVAC systems experience
- Ability to locate and install new plant equipment, including all electrical, pipefitting, rigging, and millwright work
- Ability to wear required safety equipment
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools to perform mechanical installations
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment using diagrams and blueprints and repair electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic mechanical systems
- Ability to work independently on projects

What's in it for you?Candidate will perform skilled preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical, mechanical, and general applications with minimal supervision. Candidate will respond to work requests in a timely manner depending on urgency. This includes using judgement skills to determine if a repair is critical to keep production flowing. Candidate will be required to interface with Engineering on specific projects and process improvements. Candidate will assist in managing equipment, and contractors accordingly to minimize downtime and maintain all process lines. Candidate will maintain all equipment maintenance records to GMP audit-ready status. Candidate will be competent in meeting OSHA regulations and Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) with respect to equipment installation and repair. Candidate will utilize Microsoft Office soft wares to create, update, and improve department forms and create change controls regularly. Candidate must understand and contribute to continual improvement across all departments. The candidate will take on and manage project work as business needs dictate, while maintaining day-to-day cGMP records compliance. Candidate must be able to cultivate and maintain strong internal and external relationships. Candidate will present strong attendance and punctuality.
