    Our client is a large NSWGovernment Organisation who are seeking Service ImprovementConsultant to join their team.

    The primary purpose of therole is to work across Finance and Procurement to design andimplement service improvement projects and initiatives, theintroduction of new services including self-service options forcustomers, and implementation of effective knowledge management toassist staff and suppliers to provide improved customer experienceand increased operationalefficiency.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Analysecomplex issues escalated from management and the Finance andProcurement teams, to understand the causes of recurring servicequalityissues.
    2. Basedon detailed analysis, develop and implement service improvementinitiatives and projects to resolve systemic issues, addressingsystem and process changes asrequired.
    3. Workclosely with Corporate Finance, Commercial and Strategic Projectsand TSS teams to document, simplify, consolidate and automateprocesses and procedures to drive customer experience improvementsand increased operationalefficiency.
    4. Managethe service transition process for Finance and Procurement andensure that the implementation of new services, changed and/orretired services are effectively managed and deliver on theexpected businessvalue.
    5. Ensurethat during the service transition process the impact on customersis minimal with good quality knowledge and information available toboth customers andstaff.
    6. Managethe planning of resources and capacity for service transitions, andimplement a rigorous framework for evaluating service capabilitiesand risk profiles before new or changed services aredeployed
    7. Ensurethat clear procedures and guidelines are in place to driveconsistency of service delivery acrossteams.

    SelectionCriteria:

    1. Demonstrated experience indelivering projects that have a measurable impact on servicedelivery, performance standards and customerexperience.
    2. Demonstratedability to build trust, influence and communicate effectively,apply a commercial and customer mindset, and creatively problemsolve
    3. Skilledin identifying opportunities for synergy and integration ofsystems, processes and/or improvementinitiatives
    4. Abilityto ensure changes to existing processes, technologies and servicesare carried out in a systematic and logical way
