    About the role:

    The accountant supports various aspects of the monthly and quarterly accounting processes of sales & collections, including preparing schedules to support the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of effective internal controls within the organization. The accountant will also be responsible for other functions in accounting processes of the business primarily managing the trade fund accounting and ensuring compliance to accounting standards under IFRS and US GAAP.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintaining the billing system according to E-Invoicing ZATCA requirements.
    • Prepare and issue accurate & timely sales invoices to distributors.
    • Prepare accurate Royalty & Technical Assistance report.
    • Calculate delivery cost.
    • Prepare a control excel sheet for forwarder offices of the shipments on time.
    • Control and ensure the accuracy and timely recording of accounting transactions and filing of supporting
    • documents.
    • Petty cash payments.
    • Bank payments.
    • Opening and closing of monthly journals on Mas90.
    • Applying company policies and procedures in accordance with Accounting Standards (IFRS and US GAAP).
    • Track capital expenditure for capital projects.
    • Track additions & deletions and update the Fixed asset register.
    • Reconciliation of Banks, Sister Companies, Suppliers, and customers.
    • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Participate in the preparation of cost allocation files.
    • Support in preparation of US GAAP required schedules and reports.

    Key Requirements:

    • 1-3 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting.
    • Bachelor of Accounting
    • SOCPA Certificate is a must
