    Job Title:Data Virtualization Consultant

    JobDescription:

    A Data Virtualization(DV) Engineer will work in a collaborative manner with the varioussites developers to focus on piloting designing and developing DVsolutions to meet Micron Manufacturing systems needs. This positionis a key member of a team to establish a standardized companywideDV environment and enforce DV compliance based on definedgovernance guidelines. This position provides opportunity todemonstrate your technical and analytical skills by participatingin a variety of projects that will be demonstrating DV to bringvalue toMicron.

    Responsibilities:

    Collaboratingand influencing Center of Excellence strategies around DV Productvision

    operating model backlogs and growthopportunities.

    Working with business and ITdevelopers to assess and discover opportunities for DVsolutions

    that increases efficiency and reduceoperational risk.

    Managing interactions with endusers vendors and developers to lead designdevelopment

    testing and maintenance of DVprojects across the organization.

    Selecting theappropriate set of technological tools and features for DV projectsensuring the

    alignment of the solution withenterprise guidelines.

    Ensuring standardscompliance and institutionalization standardmethodology.

    Ensure all work is developed withalignment to architecture standards which focusingon

    scalability andextensibility.

    Aligns with Micron SecurityIdentity and access management.

    Ensure issuesare accurately documented raised and resolved in a timelymanner.

    Communicates clearly both written andverbally with internal and external businesspartners

    Raise issues and risk to managementwhere appropriate.

    JobRequirements:

    Bachelors orMasters Degree in Computer Science Electrical &Electronics/Computer/Software

    EngineeringInformation Systems or related fields or equivalentexperiences.

    Experience in building and managingvirtualized views and data services that accesstransform

    and deliver the data that businessrequires is preferred.

    Experience with SQLstandards and stored procedures and capable of link and relatemultiple

    data sources to ensure accurate andefficient queries of good performance will beadvantages.

    Experience with maintaining andadministrating DV platform in a high availability andscalable

    environment is aplus.

    Understanding of DV landscape trendsemerging technologies in the DataVirtualization

    domain.

    Passionate about continuously improving organizationalpractices.

    Creative and have passion inimplementing innovative IT solutions to resolvemeaningful

    business problems.

    Good interpersonal and communication skills. Bring in your passionas you will work with a

    dynamic team to achieve acommon goal through effective collaboration anddedication.

    Highly adaptable to our fast paceddynamic and rapidly changing work environment;Response

    and tackle high priority ManufacturingSoftware Applications problems as required.

    Weare looking for a highly motivated team member with good softwareproject management

    skill and having exposure toagile development methodology will beadvantageous.
