    JobOverview

    Our client is looking foran experienced Program Management Prevention Lead to join theirteam. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeingprevention initiatives and implementing strategies to mitigaterisks across our shipbuildingprojects.

    Responsibilities

    • Developand implement prevention strategies to identify and mitigate risksacross shipbuilding projects. Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams to integrate prevention measures into project plans andprocesses.
    • Conduct comprehensive riskassessments to identify potential hazards and vulnerabilities.Develop risk management plans and coordinate preventive actions tominimize project disruptions and safetyincidents.
    • Act as a mentor to traineesproviding guidance support and technical expertise to foster theirdevelopment as prevention specialists. Document trainee progressand provide feedback to facilitate their growth as subject matterexperts.
    • Utilize your certification as anassessor or readiness to obtain one to assess and certifyprevention processes and personnel as per organizational andregulatory requirements.
    • Leverage yourexperience from prominent shipbuilding organizations to introduceand implement best practices in prevention initiatives. Shareknowledge and insights to enhance efficiency quality and safetyacross projects.
    • Ensure compliance with topclassification society standards and requirements such as IACS ABSBV DNV LR RINA etc. Monitor project activities and documentation todemonstrate adherence to industryregulations.
    • Collaborate with projectmanagement teams engineers and stakeholders to integrate preventionmeasures into project planning execution and evaluation phases.Foster a culture of proactive risk management and continuousimprovement.
    • Maintain accurate documentation ofprevention activities risk assessments and mitigation efforts.Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate progresschallenges and recommendations to senior management and projectteams.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelorsdegree in Engineering Risk Management or a related field preferredwith additional certifications or training in prevention managementbeing advantageous.
    • Proficient Englishcommunication skills with a minimum IELTS band score of 7 orequivalent essential for mentoring trainees and documenting theirprogress.
    • Documented history of being acertified assessor or eligibility to become one demonstrating theability to assess and certify prevention processes andpersonnel.
    • Proven track record of working atprominent shipbuilding organizations with significant experience inprevention management roles. Bring along best practices andbehaviors to enhance operations.
    • Demonstratedexperience working on projects adhering to top classificationsociety standards/requirements such as IACS ABS BV DNV LR RINAetc.
    • Strong leadership abilities with thecapacity to lead and motivate teams toward achieving commonprevention goals. Ability to mentor and develop juniorstaff.
