    Director of Billing& Contracts

    Ourclient is an established and acclaimed social services organizationwith a wide range of programs is recruiting a Director of Billing& The organization is still resetting after the pandemicand seeks to bolster this critical area of the finance The positionwill report to the Chief Financial Officer and will work withvarious program leaders to improve existing processes and determineif there are under collected

    Thescope of the role will include responsibility for the creation andmonitoring of all government (federal, state, cities/towns)invoices, management of 3rd) party billing and management of theaccounts receivable department including billing, collections,reconciliation, closing schedule adherence, financial reporting,and bad debt risk ; The selected individual should be aprofessional that strives to improve, add value to the organizationand develop the

    SpecificAreas ofResponsibility
    • Responsiblefor the billing and accounts receivable staff, emphasizing accurateand timely billing in accordance with the monthly closing scheduleand follow-up through the collection process
    • Responsiblefor diligent collection efforts of all accountsreceivable
    • Participatesin the annual budget development process by working closely withVice Presidents and seniordirectors
    • Reviewnew and updated revenue contracts for invoicingexpectations/requirements and ensure organizationalcompliance
    • Maintainscontract list including general ledger and Uniform Financial Report(UFR)mapping
    • Monitoractual to budget variances on a monthly basis and in collaborationwith Vice Presidents amend contracts asnecessary
    • Developand maintain dialogues with key state agency officials regardingnew initiatives and fundingchanges
    • Preparemonthly management reporting and analysis related to billing andcollections and contractprofitability
    • Developprocesses to identify and maximizerevenue
    • Coordinatewith the IT department to ensure billing processes are correct andrates are
    • Collaboratewith the Manager of FP&A to analyze and prepare budgets fornewinitiatives
    • SupportProgram Directors with financial analysis related torevenue
    • Responsiblefor establishing and implementation of billing and collectionprocedures for the accounts receivabledepartment
    • Collaborativelyworking with the Controller, to develop systems that supportaccurate and timely preparation of the UniformFinancial
    • ;Prepare supporting
    • Workingwith the Chief Financial Officer, and the Controller, to reviewmonthly financial ; Prepare monthly Accounts Receivable reports forthe Finance

    Qualifications/Qualifications
    • Bachelors degree in accounting, business, or a graduate level businessdegree isrequired;
    • ACPA or CMA would beattractive;
    • Ten(10) plus years experience in accounting, billing and contracts isamust;
    • Priorexperience in human services; social services and/or health carerelated activities isnecessary;
    • Computerliteracy with tools such as Microsoft Office, Tableau (or PowerBI),Internet Explorer and an ability to learn newsoftware
