    WorkplaceOptions have an exciting opportunity an EAP Counsellor in Glasgowto join our counselling team. This is a full-time fully remoteposition. Our counselling department provides counselling serviceson a global scale including telephonic support, clinical casemanagement, structured telephonic counselling and applicableresource referral.

    Shifthours -(overnight)

    9 pm to 7.30 am(Wed-Sat)

    9 pm to 7.30 am(Sun-Wed)


    Responsibilities:

    • Providetelephonic counselling, in-the-moment support and crisis telephonicmanagement in a supportive, ethical and professional manner whilemaintainingclient-confidentiality.
    • Adhereto the ethical, therapeutic and legal standards, which governservice delivery, as well as policies, procedures and laws, whichapply to the organization and country, asappropriate.
    • Appropriatelyrefer clients to external resources or within WPO as part of ourholisticapproach.
    • Maintainclear clinical and task-oriented documentation in case managementsystem.
    • Possessgenuine listening skills and can provide short-term clinicalinterventions such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing andsolution-focusedtechniques.
    • Abilityto work with clients presenting with substance abuse, situations ofcrisis, mental health symptoms and/or family/relationship-relatedconcerns impacting personal or workperformance.
    • Developclear and concise treatment plans for clients with various sessionmodels.
    • Assessclients thoroughly to ensure short-term counsellingappropriate.
    • Follow-throughwith additional tasks as identified by the clinical managementteam.
    • Passionateabout providing support to clients from anywhere in theworld.
    • Culturallysensitive to our clients and flexible using a telephonicinterpreter asneeded.
    • Competentin using our various methods of contact telephone, video, email,text and livechat.
    • Flexiblewith regards to schedule may be required to work some shiftsoutside regular shift hours to support the needs of the businessand client volumeintervals.


    Requirements

    • Applicantsmust hold a minimum of a diploma in Counselling.
    • Mustbe accredited or working towardsaccreditation.
    • Experiencein solution focusedcounselling.
    • ExcellentIT and administrationskills.
    • Experienceof working within a service centre environment would beadvantageous.
    • Experienceworking for an organisation with listening/counselling/supportservices would also be anadvantage.
