  • Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement location-specific engineering strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.Provide visionary leadership to the engineering team, inspiring and motivating them to achieve high performance and excellence.Establish performance metrics, monitor progress, and make data-driven decisions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Engineering Management: Oversee the engineering activities across multiple locations, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), and Maintenance, to optimize production, minimize downtime, and enhance operational efficiency.Provide technical guidance and expertise to resolve complex engineering challenges, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the development and implementation of new technologies and engineering practices to enhance productivity and cost efficiency.
  • Team Development and Performance: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations for direct reports.Mentor and coach engineers, supporting their career development and identifying opportunities for advancement.Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting effective teamwork and knowledge sharing across the engineering department.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and guidelines in all engineering activities.Identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards associated with engineering operations, implementing appropriate control measures.Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and emerging engineering practices, evaluating their relevance to the company's operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on engineering management and operations.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Strong technical expertise in oil and gas engineering principles, practices, and technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant industry regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
