- Overseefield and shop repairs including closing work
- Prepare bids and have oversight ofquotes for repairs and maintenance work in a timelymanner
- Review and evaluate all workorders for accuracy
- Negotiate andsettle customer and internal servicedisputes
- Control and evaluatedepartment P & L, including capitalexpenditures
- Interact with otherdepartment employees and promote a teamenvironment
- Handle all employeeissues including hiring, mentoring, disciplinarian actions, andterminations
- Monitor and schedulefor technician training to stay current withtechnology
- Assist with other dutiesas assigned and directed by the Branch Manager and CorporateServiceManager
- Strongorganizational and customer serviceskills
- Exceptionaltime management skills, and the ability to prioritize and completeall tasks
- Should have a minimum of5 years experience previously working in a management capacity inthe heavy construction and mining equipment
- Must have excellent verbal andwritten communication skills
- Musthave strong customer serviceskills
- Strong computerskills
