    The Assistant Marketing Managerwill be responsible in assisting the Marketing Manager with allMarketing Planning & Execution strategies for thehotel.

    • Manages and coordinatesPublic Relations activities that promote revenue growth generationand supports the hotels brand positioning and image. Leverages andexecutes social media strategies in partnership with Marketing andhotel revenue management teams to achieve brand position.Cultivates and maintains media relationships to promotebrand/property awareness.
    • Specifically youwill be responsible for performing the following tasks to thehighest standards:
      • Collaborates with HotelManagement Marketing and Revenue Management on the development andexecution of Public Relations strategies to drive Revenue throughthe use media relations (print TV internet and radio) and socialmedia. Collaborates with and leverages Hilton and Waldorf Astoriaregional and national PR resources.
      • Cultivatesand maintains strong positive media relationships on a nationalregional and local level through personalized pitches facetofacemeetings and familiarization tours. Primary liason for pressinquiries and press visits. Directly handle media requestsincluding developing pitch materials and providing media interviewsupport. Develops compelling ideas for pitching stories to media.Maintains press materials and media site.
      • Maintains hotels social media channels to promote greatercustomer engagement and to promote special rates special events andproperty announcements. Responds to guest requests/feedback onproperty blogs and social media channels.
      • Works collaboratively with key internal teams to developand promote special events to drive local and leisure business tothe hotels. Develop promotions that are newsworthy.
      • Write and distribute press releases; liaison withreporters & media outlets; proactive placement of storieswith local/regional/national media outlets.
      • Monitor press coverage and maintain media clipbook.
      • Coordinates with Corporate PR Team oncrisis management communications.
      • Assists inpromoting positive community relationships.
      • Collaborate with Brand PR/Marketing teams on newinitiatives.
      • Assists internal departments withPR and social media activities.

    Innovative action oriented individual able toidentify and implement results oriented marketing strategies forthe hotel.
