    About the Company

    This company engages in the exploration production transportation and sale of crude oil and natural gas. It operates through the following segments: Upstream Downstream and Corporate. The Upstream segment includes crude oil natural gas and natural gas liquids exploration field development and production. The Downstream segment focuses on refining logistics power generation and the marketing of crude oil petroleum and petrochemical products and related services to international and domestic customers. The Corporate segment offers supporting services including human resources finance and information technology. The company was founded on May and is headquartered in Dhahran Saudi Arabia.

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Digital Solutions Architect to join our Global Manufacturing Excellence Organization under the technical support team.

    The technical support is a multidisciplinary team who provides the required highquality technical support to GM operating facilities (Refineries NGLF and petrochemical plants) inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia & across the globe. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design innovative digital solutions.

    Your primary role will be to support the Global Manufacturing Digital Transformation programs which aim at maximizing the digitalvalue realization utilization and benefits by deploying innovative and efficient digital transformation solutions and technologies across Global Manufacturing facilities. You will provide overall technical vision and recommendations for Manufacturing Decision Support and Visualization and Manufacturing Production Solutions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with key stakeholders to develop the digital strategy roadmaps and partner with implementation teams to ensure successful delivery of digital platforms.
    • Review and analyze user requirements recommend and develop solution proposals to meet customer requirements ensuring alignment with enterprisewide digital architecture strategy.
    • Review business processes and functional requirements to optimize solution architecture recommending potential options selecting the most optimal option and developing a roadmap for the selected solution.
    • Participate in technology selection control solution development and support project management.
    • Communicate the optimized architecture to stakeholders collaborate and coordinate with existing domain architects in formalizing and adopting proposed standards and procedures.
    • Ensure proposed solutions fulfill functional requirements and comply with technology solution standards guidelines.
    • Support architectural aspects of all digital plant application projects.
    • Perform digital architecture governance function by conducting formal reviews of project artifacts to ensure alignment with overall digital architecture vision.
    • Develop policies and standards for digital platform governance and solutions architecture.
    • Develop and maintain digital platform architecture blueprints.
    • Communicate and present digital architecture proposals to peers and senior management.
    • Develop business architecture and capability maps guidance for the delivery team.
    • Design scalable and integrated digital solutions.
    • Ensure seamless integration of solutions into D&TMDs existing ecosystem.

    Requirements:

    • This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran Saudi Arabia.
    • Hold a Bachelors degree in computer science information technology or engineering; a Masters degree is preferred.
    • Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience as a solution architect within refining or gas plants with strong knowledge in designing implementing and commissioning digital plant solutions for refinery or gas plants.
    • Certification such as Fundamentals of Engineering Professional Engineering Chartered Engineer or equivalent is highly desirable.
    • Proficient in ISA 95 Model Architecture and its associated functions.
    • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman and architecture analysis for decomposing business processes into functional application and data architectures.
    • Skilled in software technologies and vendors evaluation and selection based on quantitative decision analysis methods.
    • Previous experience in developing business cases and conducting benefit/cost analysis for Digital Plant solutions.
    • Certification in TOGAF Open Group Open Certified Architect (Open CA) or any other relevant architecture certification desired.
    • Demonstrated solid understanding of the latest digital technologies including Artificial Intelligence blockchain IoT data science and analytics cloud computing Integration DB technologies (relational timeseries) etc.
    • Experience in designing and deploying solutions in cloudnative enterprise applications in public private and hybrid cloud models (AWS Azure GCP OpenShift).
    • Bring an entrepreneurial and product mindset to provide technical leadership in the development of technical designs functional specifications and relevant documentation as per This Companys standards.
    • Deep understanding of microservices headless and eventdriven and Integration architecture.
