    Job Purpose:

    Supervising the IT support staff and department to deliver optimal technical assistance to users, thereby ensuring efficient business continuity.

    Responsibilities:

    • Supervise the formulation, construction, and enforcement of departmental policies and processes.
    • Assist in the development of operational plans and the annual budget estimate for management activities.
    • Develop and maintain the organizational structure of the department while ensuring that it adheres to the policies and directives of the company.
    • Participate in the proposal, management and implementation of initiatives and projects of the Department.
    • Participate in the development and follow-up of performance indicators for the implementation of the Department's operational plan, initiatives and projects.
    • Handle all the IT Support Department operations and work to deliver optimal technical support to all departments and staff within the company in order to maintain business continuity.
    • Specify guidelines and protocols for the IT Support Department and monitor adherence to them by department and company employees.
    • Establish electronic request forms on the company's intranet so that department staff may receive and handle internal consumer concerns.
    • Keep an eye on how quickly department staff deal with requests for technical help and performance is always being assessed and improved in terms of both speed and quality.
    • Give approval for the kinds of technological gadgets that the company uses in order to ensure quality, types standardization within the company, and optimal pricing.
    • Maintain an inventory of replacement parts and equipment so that users may get them quickly in the event that their devices break down, ensuring business continuity.
    • Accept the delivery of new devices by staff based on the requirements of the user and the required permissions.
    • Develop a schedule for routine technical equipment maintenance and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and to foresee issues before they arise.
    • Supervise the regular inventory of the company's distributed technological devices and register them under the users' custody.
    • Accept of charging the best rates for used or broken electronics.
    • Analyze current developments and patterns in the information technology support industry.
    • Speak with providers of IT support services to get the best technical solutions for the company.
    • Accept the Information Technology Support Department's payment requests in line with the authorized budget.
    • Set periodic reports on management operations.
    • Assist management personnel with training, direction, and assistance to ensure goal attainment and ongoing enhancement.
    • Perform any additional responsibilities given to the administration within the scope of its authority.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent.
    • Minimum 12 years of experience in the same field.
